Use your Trelino EVO only as a toilet - not as a seat! For an optimal size-to-weight ratio, the soft-close lid has been deliberately designed with thin walls and is therefore not suitable as a seat.

	Weight At 4.9 kg the Trelino® Evo L is easy to transport. The Trelino® Evo L is approximately one and a half times the height of a beer crate.
	Number One (Pee) The urine canister has a volume of10 ℓ and holds 18 - 22 No. 1s.

How does a composting toilet work?

The inner workings of a composting toilet essentially consist of three parts: separator, urine canister and solids container. The separator leads the urine into the canister, while the solids end up in a bucket with a compost bag. More about the function of a composting toilet

What should I pay attention to when using it?

The correct sitting position is crucial for the best possible function of a composting toilet. For anatomical reasons, this differs for women and men. Further information on the seat position

Why does a composting toilet not smell?

Odors are caused by the mixing of solids and liquids. Separating the excreta and then drying the solids prevents undesirable aromas. More about the odor neutrality of a composting toilet

When do I need a fan?

A fan counteracts condensation, accelerates the drying process of the solids and ensures that fragrances quickly dissolve into thin air. This makes it particularly suitable for long emptying cycles or if your Trelino® is used by several people. Due to its compact dimensions and short emptying cycles, the Trelino® S does not need a fan.

What happens when I have diarrhea?

Diarrhea is not a problem when using a composting toilet. Just use more litter to compensate for the liquid.

Where do I dispose of the contents?

Urine can easily be disposed of in a toilet connected to the sewer system. Diluted, it is also suitable as fertilizer for the home garden or the raised bed on the balcony. The bag with the solids is a case for the residual waste garbage can. Conditionally, composting is also possible. The urine canister and solids container can be emptied independently of each other.

Plastic bags and composting - how do they fit together?

For us, sustainability and environmental awareness don't end with disposal - we think beyond the garbage can. Our solid bags are made from 100% post-consumer recycled material (LDPE). This makes them a top-notch recycled product whose carbon footprint is significantly lower than that of standard bags made from virgin material. Alternatively, we also offer you solid bags made from renewable, organic materials that can be easily composted.

How do I clean a composting toilet?

Selten im Leben habe ich etwas gewonnen, dieses Mal hat es geklappt. Vielen Dank! Leider fahre ich jetzt im Herbst nicht mehr mit dem Wohnwagen umher, deshalb konnte ich die Toilette auch noch nicht testen. Das wird sich im nächsten Jahr ändern. Aber mit der Auslieferung hat alles fantastisch geklappt!

Needed a down stairs loo!

As an older person moving to a smaller house, I was hoping to put in a downstairs loo, and there was just the place. Sadly I found I would need to move the gas main, and the Electrics and boiler were also not in an ideal place. Somehow, Scottish man in a van, appeared in my media feed, and I thought this could work. I researched this further, and as mine was in a home and not restricted by camper van storage, I went for the Evo Large, which was the same height as my regular loo. My knees struggle with lower seats. I absolutely love it, and have done lots of happy wee's on it, without needing to go upstairs. So far I have not needed to use it for a poo, but I would if I needed too. I have found emptying the wee container really easy, and was able to take upstairs to my loo. Not a heavy item at all. I love it and thank you!
