What distinguishes which model series?
Evo
Our Evo series was designed to be even more lightweight, comfortable, good-looking and easy to clean. It is the lightest and most portable composting toilet on the market.
Origin
The Origin series is our original product that we designed with durability and compactness in mind. It can be used as a strong step and doesn't look like a toilet at all.
Timber
Our Timber series is our most elegant premium line. Handcrafted in wood with a high-quality round edge finish, the Timber series is closest to being a part of nature itself.

Should your Trelino® get really wet, be able to be a little damp or stay dry? Here the material plays an important role in the choice of your Trelino®.

Do you want to store your Trelino® in a compartment or niche, or can it stand free? Accordingly, the dimensions of the Trelino® are decisive.
Our recommendations
Below you will find our recommendations for certain requirements that you might have for your Trelino®. Of course, this does not cover all possibilities, but we hope that this may help you a little better. 🙋♀️
–– Enough space and no water contact? ☀️🌵
Then we recommend Evo L, Origin L or Timber L. Since you have enough space, you should take advantage of the longer emptying cycles and the normal seat height with size L. (☝️ Do you want to put your Trelino® on a pedestal or slide-in unit? Then size M is exactly what you need instead of size L).
And since your Trelino® does not come into contact with water, you could also consider the Timber series made of wood in addition to the Evo and Origin plastic series.
–– Enough space and sometimes a bit wet? 💧
Then we recommend Evo L or Origin L. Also in your case, you should take advantage of the longer emptying cycles and the normal seat height with size L, as you have enough space. (☝️ Do you want to put your Trelino® on a pedestal or slide-in unit? Then size M is exactly what you need instead of size L).
Since your Trelino® comes into contact with water from time to time and moisture can develop, you should rather avoid our Timber series made of wood despite the coating.

Then we recommend the Evo L. Also in your case, you should take advantage of the longer emptying cycles and the normal seat height with size L, as you have enough space. (☝️ Do you want to put your Trelino® on a pedestal or slide-in unit? Then size M is exactly what you need instead of size L).
Since your Trelino® comes into contact with a lot of water from time to time, you should rather avoid our Timber series made of wood and our Origin series because of the wooden lid.
–– Small for the niche, but not too low? ✌️
Then we recommend the Evo M, Origin M or Timber M. All three models are compactly built and may fit well in your compartment or niche. You can compare all the dimensions side by side in the data table at the bottom of this page.
At the same time, all models in size M have a comfortable seat height. The sitting position is slightly lower than normal at home, but still very comfortable (and actually even recommended by doctors).
–– It has to be very compact and easy to store? 📦
Then we recommend Evo S or Origin S. Since you like to stow the Trelino® in a compartment or niche, the compactness and easy portability of size S is ideal for you.
But: If you use the Trelino® daily not only alone but with more people, we recommend that you consider whether size M is a better solution because of the larger capacity of the containers. This way, with size M, you could avoid very frequent emptying.
