Use your Trelino EVO only as a toilet - not as a seat! For an optimal size-to-weight ratio, the soft-close lid has been deliberately designed with thin walls and is therefore not suitable as a seat.

	Weight At 4.9 kg the Trelino® Evo L is easy to transport. The Trelino® Evo L is approximately one and a half times the height of a beer crate.
	Number One (Pee) The urine canister has a volume of10 ℓ and holds 18 - 22 No. 1s.
	Number Two (Poo) The solids container has a volume of 10 ℓ and holds 11 - 20 poos.

How does a composting toilet work?

The separation insert directs urine into a canister, while solid waste is collected in a separate container. For easier disposal, this container needs to be equipped with a trash bag. More about the function of a composting toilet
Why does a composting toilet not smell?

Odors are caused by the mixing of solids and liquids. Separating the excreta and then drying the solids prevents undesirable aromas. More about the odor neutrality of a composting toilet
What should I pay attention to when using it?

The correct sitting position is crucial for the best possible function of a composting toilet. For anatomical reasons, this differs for women and men. Further information on the seat position
When do I need a fan?
A fan counteracts condensation, accelerates the drying process of the solids and ensures that fragrances quickly dissolve into thin air. This makes it particularly suitable for long emptying cycles or if your Trelino® is used by several people. Due to its compact dimensions and short emptying cycles, the Trelino® S does not need a fan.
How do I clean a composting toilet?
Cleaning a composting toilet is as simple as its use. The household remedy diluted citric acid has proven its worth. Tips for cleaning can be found here
What happens when I have diarrhea?
Diarrhea is not a problem when using a composting toilet. Just use more litter to compensate for the liquid.
Where do I dispose of the contents?
Urine can easily be disposed of in a toilet connected to the sewer system. Diluted, it is also suitable as fertilizer for the home garden or the raised bed on the balcony. The bag with the solids is a case for the residual waste garbage can. Conditionally, composting is also possible. The urine canister and solids container can be emptied independently of each other.
Plastic bags and composting - how do they fit together?
For us, sustainability and environmental awareness don't end with disposal - we think beyond the garbage can. Our solid bags are made from 100% post-consumer recycled material (LDPE). This makes them a top-notch recycled product whose carbon footprint is significantly lower than that of standard bags made from virgin material. Alternatively, we also offer you solid bags made from renewable, organic materials that can be easily composted.

Plastic isn’t hard wearing at all

Haven’t had the pleasure of using the evo L … but there was a light blemish on the side as I removed the packaging, which leads me
onto the choice of plastic used for the outer casing.

It just seems very brittle and easily marked so one drop it will smash to pieces, so durability and it looking nice is at question here.

I am very pleased with my purchase, I haven’t tested it out yet but will be soon.

EVO L Better Than maybe not.

Lots of use with the EVO. It works great and is sturdy to sit on as a seat or a toilet. But there is no hand holes or handles to pick it up and move it around, You have to push it to move it and the rubber feet are sticky on vinyl floor watch the mess. If you try to lift it the top assembly comes off and its very fiddley to to replace.
