	Fan We recommended the use of the fan set! A fan can be installed for even faster drying of the solids. The hole for the fan must be drilled yourself. We recommend a circular hole saw or a Forstner bit 38-40 mm.
	Material The body of Trelino® M is made of multilayer birch wood with HPL coating. The material is waterproof glued and oiled. The containers are made of recyclable, acid-resistant polyethylene (PE).

How does a composting toilet work?

The inner workings of a composting toilet essentially consist of three parts: separator, urine canister and solids container. The separator leads the urine into the canister, while the solids end up in a bucket with a compost bag. More about the function of a composting toilet
Why does a composting toilet not smell?

Odors are caused by the mixing of solids and liquids. Separating the excreta and then drying the solids prevents undesirable aromas. More about the odor neutrality of a composting toilet
Hat should I pay attention to when using it?

When do I need a fan?
A fan counteracts condensation, accelerates the drying process of the solids and ensures that fragrances quickly dissolve into thin air. This makes it particularly suitable for long emptying cycles or if your Trelino® is used by several people. Due to its compact dimensions and short emptying cycles, the Trelino® S does not need a fan.
What happens when I have diarrhea?
Diarrhea is not a problem when using a composting toilet. Just use more litter to compensate for the liquid.
Where do I dispose of the contents?
Urine can easily be disposed of in a toilet connected to the sewer system. Diluted, it is also suitable as fertilizer for the home garden or the raised bed on the balcony. The bag with the solids is a case for the residual waste garbage can. Conditionally, composting is also possible. The urine canister and solids container can be emptied independently of each other.
Plastic bags and composting - how do they fit together?
For us, sustainability and environmental awareness don't end with disposal - we think beyond the garbage can. Our solid bags are made from 100% post-consumer recycled material (LDPE). This makes them a top-notch recycled product whose carbon footprint is significantly lower than that of standard bags made from virgin material. Alternatively, we also offer you solid bags made from renewable, organic materials that can be easily composted.

Attualmente non sono in grado di fornire una recensione oggettiva sul water compostabile, in quanto non ho ancora avuto l'opportunità di testarlo, poiché il bagno della mia piccola abitazione è tuttora in fase di completamento. Tuttavia, posso affermare che, per quanto riguarda la sua costruzione, il prodotto appare di eccellente qualità. Sebbene il prezzo possa meritare una rivalutazione, comprendo appieno i costi di produzione ad esso associati.

Ideale Toilette für unterwegs oder Wochenendhaus

Ich habe die Größe M in der Farb-Ausführung Anthrazit.
Diese Toilette ist sehr schön und gut zu handhaben.
Für mich gab es ein Manko. Der Feststoffbehälter hat eine zu niedrige Ausführung oder umgedreht der Trenneinsatz ist nicht weit genug nach unten gezogen. Fakt ist es gibt eine Lücke zwischen dem unteren Rand des Trenneinsatzes und dem oberen Rand des Feststoffbehälters. Falls doch mal etwas Pipi nach hinten gerät ist es nicht garantiert, dass es auch in den Behälter gelangt oder woanders hin. Ich hatte noch den Selbstbausatz M (da gab es einen höheren und etwas breiteren Feststoffbehälter) und ich nahm dann dessen Feststoffbehälter, den ich in der Höhe noch etwas reduzieren musste und den Henkel entfernen musste, dann hat es perfekt gepasst.
Also kleine Anregung für Trelino: Macht den Feststoffbehälter für M so hoch, dass es auch so ist, wie es in eurer Prinzipzeichnung ausschaut. :-) Dann ist es perfekt.

Ordered this from Ireland. It was delivered very quickly and in perfect condition (not a straightforward delivery! )
I've used it for the past few weeks. I use wood shavings that I bought in a garden centre which is being for hamsters or something! So that is fairly cheap, no chemicals. Works perfectly. No smell.
The urine catcher also perfect, no misses & very easy to clean.
The whole thing looks great for what is a glorified bucket, but the system of compostable bag, wide mouth urine bottle makes cleaning simple and thorough.
The only regret is that I spent bloody ages looking at and debating other loos with handles and fans etc. Pointless.
This is simple and efficient.
