Use your Trelino EVO only as a toilet - not as a seat! For an optimal size-to-weight ratio, the soft-close lid has been deliberately designed with thin walls and is therefore not suitable as a seat.

	Weight At 4.3 kg the Trelino® Evo M is ideal for those who value weight optimization. The Trelino® Evo M is only about 10.0 cm higher than a beer crate and similarly compact.

How does a composting toilet work?

The inner workings of a composting toilet essentially consist of three parts: separator, urine canister and solids container. The separator leads the urine into the canister, while the solids end up in a bucket with a compost bag. More about the function of a composting toilet
Why does a composting toilet not smell?

Odors are caused by the mixing of solids and liquids. Separating the excreta and then drying the solids prevents undesirable aromas. More about the odor neutrality of a composting toilet
Hat should I pay attention to when using it?

When do I need a fan?
A fan counteracts condensation, accelerates the drying process of the solids and ensures that fragrances quickly dissolve into thin air. This makes it particularly suitable for long emptying cycles or if your Trelino® is used by several people. Due to its compact dimensions and short emptying cycles, the Trelino® S does not need a fan.
What happens when I have diarrhea?
Diarrhea is not a problem when using a composting toilet. Just use more litter to compensate for the liquid.
Where do I dispose of the contents?
Urine can easily be disposed of in a toilet connected to the sewer system. Diluted, it is also suitable as fertilizer for the home garden or the raised bed on the balcony. The bag with the solids is a case for the residual waste garbage can. Conditionally, composting is also possible. The urine canister and solids container can be emptied independently of each other.
Plastic bags and composting - how do they fit together?
For us, sustainability and environmental awareness don't end with disposal - we think beyond the garbage can. Our solid bags are made from 100% post-consumer recycled material (LDPE). This makes them a top-notch recycled product whose carbon footprint is significantly lower than that of standard bags made from virgin material. Alternatively, we also offer you solid bags made from renewable, organic materials that can be easily composted.
How do I clean a composting toilet?

Trelino Evo M Composting toilet review

We used the toilet for 10 weeks in a small camper van driving round Europe. We had temperatures up to 40 degrees C and much to our surprise the toilet remained almost totally odourless. We are very pleased with the performance of the toilet and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other people. The only issue is the valve into the liquids container appears to have a useable life of about seven or eight weeks after which it needs to be replaced. We would recommend that the unit is supplied with at least one or two spares in this regard.

Seul bémol, lorsque l’on vide le réservoir d’urine celui ci ne se vide pas complètement, en effet il aurait fallu faire un angle pour évacuer le liquide.
